One of the highlights of the year for Air Labrador is delivering Santa to Labrador Communities. On December 19, 2010 Santa boarded one of Air Labrador flights, along with members of the Happy Valley-Goose Bay Rotary Club to travel to the North Coast communities of Hopedale, Makkovik and Postville. Large crowds of residents and children gathered in each community for Santa's arrival.
Air Labrador has been working in partnership with the Rotary Club to help Santa make his annual trip to the Coast for 22 years. The afternoon was enjoyed by Santa and all the children he visited.

November 9, 2010 - New GPS coming for Labrador airstrips
It's hoped that some new technology will mean fewer weather delays for planes that fly to the coast of Labrador. The government is installing GPS technology in coastal airstrips. It will allow planes to land in lower cloud cover. Airlines like Air Labrador and Priovincial Airlines/Innu Makun are installing the equipment in their aircraft in preparation for the new system. Phillip Earle is President and CEO of Air Labrador...and he spoke with reporter Peter Cowan... CBC Podcast (right-click to download).
