Baggage Info

Quebec

Checked Baggage:

Baggage allowance Max Weight Max Size LxWxH
1 (free of charge) 25lb per piece 62 linear inches

You are permitted to check up to one piece of baggage free of charge. Bags must not exceed a total of 25 pounds (25lb), and their maximum size must not exceed 62 inches (length + width + height). Where a bag exceeds the maximum Air Labrador requirements, it can still travel as Excess Baggage (see rules for Excess Baggage). Please keep in mind that Transport Canada regulations require that each piece of luggage has a nametag.

Excess Baggage:
All overweight baggage is weighed separately at a charge not greater than $2.30. For each piece of baggage that exceeds the normal allotment, a charge not greater than $28.30 is applied. If a bag exceeds 25 pounds, then the overweight charge is also applied not greater than $2.30/lb. Additional bags are tagged as ‘excess’ and will travel based on available space. Air Labrador will make every effort to ensure all baggage travels with the passenger. However, if space is not available, excess bags will be moved on the next available Air Labrador flight. When bags are shipped on the next available flight, passengers can pick them up at the airport, or make alternate arrangements with the Air Labrador departure station.

Special Items:
